From The Ground is on view at the Gordon Smith Gallery from September 19, 2025 to February 26, 2026​. Curated by Holly Schmidt and Amelia Epp, the exhibition features works by contemporary artists alongside works from the Artists for Kids and Gordon Smith Gallery Permanent Collection.​

Elementary Band and Strings  is an instrumental music program that is distinctive to the North Vancouver School District. ​ Band and Strings complements the BC Ministry of Education's Arts Education curriculum and provides school-based instrumental ensemble instruction to students in the intermediate grades.​

Teacher candidates looking to contribute their skills, talent, and experience to the natural place to learn, share and grow are invited to find out more about the variety of rewarding teaching opportunities available at the NVSD.

Students in Grades 8-12 are invited to submit up to 10 original photos for the chance to have their work featured in the 2026/27 School Year Calendar. There are $500 in prizes to be won, including gift cards to your favourite local spots! Photos must reflect the theme: 'What makes your school great?'​

The Late French Immersion Program is a two-year intensive prog​ram offered to all students who have successfully completed Grade 5.

Applications to the program are accepted until March 13, 2026.
