Role of the PAC in Emergency Preparedness

The Parent Advisory Committee plays a valuable role in the school’s state of readiness. 

Within a given school, a PAC representative often leads the review and update of emergency preparedness supplies, including:

  • classroom Grab-and-Go kits
  • emergency water supplies
  • outdoor emergency container supplies

In addition, the purchase of emergency preparedness supplies may be funded by PAC fundraising efforts.
