A quality education system assists in the development of human potential and improves the overall well-being of society. The B.C. school system develops educated citizens by supporting each student's intellectual, human and social, and career development.

In alignment with the Ministry of Education and Child Care's Framework for Enhancing Student Learning (FESL), the North Vancouver School District’s 10-year strategic plan highlights the steps we are taking to fulfill the mandate of public schooling.

​​​Strategic Plan 2021-2031

In May 2021, the North Vancouver Board of Education approved a refreshed 10-year strategic plan. The strategic plan is the culmination of community-wide consultation, a process that included specific and intentional work with the leadership of the Skwxwú7mesh Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation.
