A valedictorian is a person who represents what is best about a graduating class. The honour goes to a person who

·       has been involved in school and community leadership.

·       has a deep understanding of the high school journey and how that relates to the future.

·       is a person who can articulate a positive reflective message of the past.

·       has an insightful image for the future.

The Valedictorian needs to have four key qualities:

1.     Demonstrated leadership in the school and community.

2.     Outstanding commitment to Argyle = attendance, behaviour.

3.     Academic success (minimum C+ GPA based on all courses).

4.     Quality engagement in classes.
