Calm, Alert and Learning by Dr. Stuart Shanker PDF HERE

This book provides a wealth of information regarding how to help children make progress toward self-regulation.  Shanker presents findings from rigorous research studies to support the need to help children reach a calm and alert state in order for them to be able to learn.  This reinforces the importance of home-school connections as we educate Capilano's children.
