How may I borrow a book?

• Bring the book(s) to the circulation desk
• Tell the teacher-librarian or the library monitor your Class and your first name.

How long may I keep a book?

• 2 weeks

How do I return a book?

• Through the book return slots at the circulation desk.
  (English on the left, French on the right)
• Return items on time, and in good condition

What if I would like to renew my book (keep it longer than two weeks)?

In Person:    Ask the teacher-librarian to renew it for you.

Online:         You may also renew an item once online. Log-in to Follett Destiny or to Destiny Discover.

What if I DAMAGE a book?

If a book is returned damaged, the current borrower will be charged for its replacement. Always check books for existing damage before you leave the library.

What's the password for World Book Encyclopedia?

For most of the BC Digital Classroom resources (Worldbook, Gale, EBSCO and most other online resources), the login is available from the Teacher-Librarian.

May I eat in the library?

No! Food is NOT allowed in the library - please eat elsewhere.
