STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES 2023-2024 |
What is it? A virtual information session where you will learn about the Counsellor Program at Cheakamus Centre – a great opportunity to be mentors and leaders for NVSD grade 4’s and 6’s at Outdoor School.
Where is it?
In the Learning Commons. If you cannot make it in-person, please speak to your school counsellor for the link to attend online.
Who can attend? Grade 10s, 11s, & 12s!
What if I trained/counselled already last year?
Great! You do not need to attend this virtual session. Cheakamus Centre administration will email you directly when sign-ups are open.
Why should I counsel? Make new friends! Earn volunteer hours! Inspire and connect with youth in your school district! Spent time outdoors!

The main purpose of the fair is to introduce students to the variety of jobs that can be obtained in these career focus areas.
