Kelly Munro
 | Hello, my name is Kelly Munro. I am the
school counsellor at Norgate Communtiy School - Xwemelch'stn and at Westview Ta
na wa Ns7éyxnitm tlá Teltíwet Elementary. My role allows me to work with so many
children, and I love the connections I am privileged to make. I
especially enjoy supporting students with discovering their inner
strengths, and helping them to be their own best friend. I love using
stories to support children with developing a toolkit of strategies to
manage their worries and strong feelings. When I am not at work, I can
often be found exploring the many wonderful hiking trails that North
Vancouver has to offer. I love spending time on the trails with my
Australian labradoodle, Raven. I also enjoy spending time at Whistler
with my family where we go for walks and bike rides, or cozying up
to a crackling wood burning fire. I feel privileged in my work to be
part of two very diverse communities, and I appreciate what both have to
offer.
