A youth firefighting mentorship program for grade 11 & 12 females and youth identifying as female.
In partnership with local fire departments, the camp provides strong role models empowering youth to challenge themselves and learn new skills focusing on the firefighting profession.
What does a Camp Ignite participant do?
Students will have the opportunity to learn about various tools and skills needed to be successful in the fire service, including auto-extrication, hazmat operations, first aid training, and technical rope rescue operations.
βWhat are the benefits?
Camp Ignite emphasizes team building through fun team activities. Participants are offered a true sense of what life in the fire service is all about.

At various host departments in August
The four-day, three-night camp will take place at a variety of locations throughout Metro Vancouver Fire Departments as well as many local fitness locales such as climbing walls, hiking trails such as the Grouse Grind, Crossfit and more.
