Each year, salmonids arrive at many different locations throughout the North Vancouver School District. Read about it HERE.

The salmon are welcomed following local Indigenous process and protocol, with song, cedar and stream water. Latash, Maurice Nahanee, created The Salmon Song, which has been gifted to the NVSD schools to use. You can hear Latash sharing The Legend of the Salmon People in this video.
