​​​​​​​​The grade 12 year is an important and busy year.  It is vital that parents and students keep themselves informed about important dates and requirements that may impact the final year at Argyle.

Career Life Connections 12 Teams

Students should ensure they check their CLC 12 class Team site regularly.  This course is a graduation requirement.

  • ​Grads are reminded to let Ms. Erin Malone know of all scholarship and bursary offers they have received, even if they did not accept them.  Students can send Ms. Malon​e a Teams chat, email, or drop by the counselling office and see her in person with the information.

  • ​May 13-17 - Grad Banquet tickets for students and families will be on sale on School Cash Online​

  • May 15-22 - Bring printed copy of banquet ticket receipt to the mulit-purpose area to choose seats and pick up tickets during flex time

  • June 8 - Grad Banquet at the Westin Bayshore 6:00pm-11:00pm

  • June 10-14 - Grad Ceremony Tickets for sale on School Cash Online (Grads do not need to buy a ticket)

  • June 11-17 - Bring printed copy of ceremony ticket receipt to pick up tickets

  • Before June 14 - Ensure all fees on School Cash Online are cleared

  • June 14 - Rehearsal for the Convocation Ceremony and Gown Pick-Up during P8 in the Gym

  • June 24 - Grad Ceremony at the Orpheum 7:00pm.  Arrive by 6:00pm.

  • June 27 - Pick up Grad folder, ceremony and banquet photo and yearbook (if ordered)


​​Convocation Ceremony Rehearsal and Gown Pick-up

Friday, June 14th in Period 8

This is a mandatory rehearsal session for all grade 12’s attending the graduation convocation ceremony on June 25th.  Students on study blocks are required to attend.  Students will receive their cap and gown at the end of the rehearsal.  All fees must be cleared on School Cash Online prior to students receiving their cap and gown.  Students will return their graduation gown at the end of the ceremony on June 25th but they keep their cap. Caps & gowns are distributed early to ensure families have several opportunities to take pictures prior to grad.​


Grad Council

Grad Council is sponsored by Ms. Sigurdsson, Ms. Malone and Mr. Kelsch. Students wishing to be on Grad Council attend meetings every Monday in room 150. Grad Council responsibilities include organizing in-school grad events such as: theme days, the 12 Days of Christmas, and helping shape the Semi Formal and Grad Banquet.
