Join us from 12:20 to 12:55pm for an introduction to the game of volleyball. The program will focus on basic volleyball skills and movement in a fun environment. Equipment will be modified to accommodate the needs of this age group. Open to grades 3-5. All abilities welcome.Mini-Volleyball will run in the gym on Thursdays from Sept 26 to Nov 29. Each student will have the opportunity to attend 7 sessions. $25 for the 7 weeks (+$20 for a sibling). No special equipment is required but children should wear running shoes and comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict movement.

Lights Up After Schools at Braemar Elementary! Lights Up provides singing, dancing, and acting classes for children and teens across the lower mainland. Our after school programming brings our classes to elementary schools across the Lower Mainland.
Learn to sing, dance, and act with our talented and fun teaching team! A fun, low-pressure introduction to the world of Musical Theatre. Students work together towards a final performance for family and friends throughout the term. Sing, dance, act, and build confidence, right at the bell!
Students will be supervised from dismissal at Braemar. No need to pick up your child until 5:15pm!

National Indigenous Veterans Day honours the thousands of Indigenous peoples who served overseas during the First World War, Second World War and Korean War. On the home front, Indigenous communities donated money and worked for the war industry. Despite their contributions and sacrifices, Indigenous peoples remained marginalized.
National Indigenous Veterans Day was established in Winnipeg in 1994; it is observed annually on November 8.
