The BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC), a registered non-profit and non-partisan charity, represents the parents of 565,000 children attending the public schools. As the provincially mandated voice of parents in public schools. their mission is to engage, empower and support parents for the success of all learners through collaboration, partnership and education, ina culture of acceptance, inclusion and equity.
Membership is made up of school Parent Advisory Councils (PAC), district Parent Advisory Councils (DPAC), and parent associate members. The BCCPAC Board of Directors is an elected body, voted in by the membership PACs and DPACs at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
