Sutherland Secondary AP Exam Registration
For May 2025 all registered exam-only students will write their exams at the scheduled time at Sutherland Secondary School (1860 Sutherland Avenue, North Vancouver). Students must arrive 30 minutes before their exam is scheduled. Please bring a government-issued photo ID to the exam (e.g. Driver's License, Passport, Certificate of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Card). Students will not be permitted to write the exam without a photo ID. No electronic devices are permitted inside the exam area except for approved calculators. Late arrivals are not be permitted to enter.

Registration Process:
Send an email to Cora Pross at cpross@sd44.ca.
You will receive an email including a link to School Cash Online, where you can pay your $295 AP Exam Fee.
Once you registration is paid, you will receive your exam JOIN CODE via email.
Sign in to myap.collegeboard.org using your College Board login.
Enter the JOIN CODE to ensure your examination is ordered before the registration deadline of November 1, 2024.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need a College Board Account?
Yes. You will need to register through the College Board to write all AP exams. You will check your scores, keep track of AP updates, and make changes to your account.
Do I need to go to Sutherland to take the AP exams?
No. Students from many high schools take AP exams at Sutherland.
Where are the AP course descriptions?

Can I register for more than one exam?
Absolutely!
What if I change my mind? Can I get my money back?
You can notify us by sending an email to cpross@sd44.ca . If cancelled before Nov 15th you will receive a refund, less the $75 cancellation fee.
What if I miss the exam?
If students miss the exam, they may have an opportunity to register for a “late exam session."
What if I require exam accommodations?
Please send an email to cpross@sd44.ca. Cora Pross can apply for accommodations on your behalf. When you email to receive your JOIN CODE, include your most recent psychoeducational assessment and IEP.
Do AP exams earn transfer credits to university?
Some universities will grant first year credits for AP exams. There are often minimum grades required to earn the transfer credits.
