Please note: Students in Grade 9 and lower must attend a school in BC to enrol in NVOL courses.
Step 1: Register online
Register through the
online registration portal. Students outside the North Vancouver School District, please use a
personal email address to enroll. Some email services from B.C. school districts do not allow communication outside their organization.
Step 2: Email course selection
The student’s parent/guardian must email
NVOL@sd44.ca with the course name and grade level in which you would like to register your child.
Step 3: Gather and submit required documents

Required Documents web page for more information on the type of documents that are accepted.
Please email the following identification files to
NVOL@sd44.ca. Please note, we
do not accept a B.C. driver's license for proof of address or citizenship status. Students currently enrolled at the North Vancouver School District are
not required to email identification files.
- Proof of Status in Canada for the student
- Proof of Status in Canada for the parent/guardian (if student is under the age of 19)
- Proof of Address in B.C.
Step 4: Complete the Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement
All students are required to complete and submit the
Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement.
Step 5: Pay fees (International students only)
International students are required to pay a course fee through School Cash Online, please find the information on the
Fees web page.
