Please
consider sponsoring, donating, or volunteering your time and talents to
the North Shore's longest-running community fundraiser—the 41st Annual
Seycove Auction and Dance on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. This year, we’re
embracing the iconic theme – Age of Aquarius – Time to Shine! as we step
into an era that celebrates hope, harmony, and universal humanity. For
those in our community who love a great costume party, get ready to
shine in your best horoscope or hippie-inspired outfits!
This
100% community volunteer-run auction is an inclusive community event
that brings together parents, students, community organizations, local
businesses, and school staff for a collective vision – supporting a
future where our children thrive together!
Over
the past decade, thanks to generous contributions like yours, the
Auction has raised over $525,000 for students in the Seycove Family of
Schools (FOS) region. This includes the three elementary schools—Dorothy
Lynas, Sherwood Park, and Cove Cliff that feed into Seycove Secondary.
Last year alone, the Auction raised $75,000 and attracted 500 attendees!
The
Auction provides critical funding for scholarships and bursaries, as
well as enhancements across all four schools, supporting the Parent
Advisory Committee (PAC) budget needs such as: essential tech upgrades,
transportation for track, field, and performing arts events, and
enriching extracurricular programs. Additionally, the funds enhance
literacy with new library and classroom books, maintain and upgrade
playgrounds and school grounds, fulfill teacher wish lists, and provide
sports uniforms.

between now and April 5th, 2025. Tax receipts are issued for donations
over $50.
