Before you register:
- Please read and ensure you understand the
Summer Learning policies.
- In particular, please read and ensure your child is able to meet the Attendance Policy. Due to the short and intense duration of summer learning programs, it is essential that students attend regularly. Daily attendance is
mandatory for all Summer Learning programs. Do
not register if you anticipate any absences (e.g. summer work, vacation, sports events/tournaments, family commitments).
- Students must be non-graduates, under the age of 19 on July 1, 2024.
- Students may register for only
one course.
- There is a $50 administration fee for transfers and withdrawals. Visit the
Transfer and Withdrawals web page for more information.
NVSD#44 students only
Students who currently
attend a NVSD#44 school can register between
May 1 and
June 21, 2024. North Vancouver Online Learning students who are enrolled in another school district outside the NVSD#44 can register starting May 10, 2024.
Step 1: Log into your NVSD#44 School Cash Online account.

Step 2: In School Cash Online, select the Summer Learning registration item you need and complete the information required. Choose between the two main Summer Learning programs:
- Full Credit Academic Grade 10-12 courses
- Foundations courses (ELL, Numeracy, Literacy, and 7/8 Transition)
Step 3: Withing the registration form, select the desired course from the drop-down menu. Please double check that you have chosen the correct course in the drop-down menu. If you register for the incorrect course, please
contact the office as soon as possible.
Step 4: Add item to cart and go through checkout process. Pay the
resource deposit if you requested a Full Credit course. There is no deposit for Foundations courses.
Step 5: You will receive an on-screen confirmation immediately upon registering and payment (if applicable). Please ensure your course selection is correct on this screen. Payment confirmation will be sent to your email.
Students outside of the NVSD#44
Students who do
not attend a NVSD#44 school can register between
May 10 and
June 21, 2024. This includes North Vancouver Online Learning students enrolled in another school district outside the NVSD, and students from independent or private schools.
Please read Steps 1 through 6 before beginning the registration process.
Step 1: First read all steps before proceeding. Then click to open and then collect all required documents outlined on page 1 of 
Summer Learning Student Registration Form Checklist and complete this 2-page registration form, and print or download/ save, as you will be required to email this in to our office along with all the required documentation.
Step 2: Click on the registration item you need below and it will take you to School Cash Online (DO NOT LOG INTO SCHOOL CASH ONLINE OR IT WILL NOT WORK). Choose between the two main Summer Learning programs:
- Full Credit Academic Grade 10-12 courses
- Foundations courses (ELL, Numeracy, Literacy, and 7/8 Transition)

Step 3: Once in School Cash Online on the registration form fill it out completely, and select the desired course from the drop-down menu. Please double check that you have chosen the correct course in the drop-down menu. If you register for the incorrect course, please
contact the office as soon as possible.
Step 4: Add item to cart and go through checkout process. Pay the
resource deposit and/or the course fee (international students only). There is no deposit for Foundations courses.
Step 5: You will receive an on-screen confirmation immediately upon registering and payment (if applicable), please ensure your course selection is correct on this screen. If the course is not the one you intended please download and save this receipt and contact the Summer School office for support with the incorrect course. Payment confirmation will also be sent to your email (note: it does not include the course in the email.) NOTE: YOU ARE NOT DONE REGISTERING YET, THE SECOND REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION IS OUTLINED IN THE NEXT STEP 6.
Step 6: Submit the completed following documents through email to
summer@sd44.ca.
All required documentation must be received to process registration. If we do not receive all required items in in step 6 your child will not be registered in a course. We suggest you email in all required documentation the same day as you register, as courses may become full and closed throughout each day.
Only students outside of the NVSD#44 can use the following links to register for Summer Learning. Links will take you to the registration form on School Cash Online------Do not log into School Cash Online, or it will not work. Please choose to logout as a GUEST, even if you have a
School Cash Online account from a different school district. Note: you
do not need the student number to register for Summer Learning. Please
ignore the black banner at the top of the course selection form.
