At Upper Lynn Elementary, we love music!
Students in grades K-5 receive two classes per week of specialized music instruction. In their music classes, students learn about music, respond to music, and make music. Students sing, move, create, and play instruments including a variety of percussion instruments, recorders, and xylophones. Upper Lynn students have opportunities to share their learning in school assemblies, concerts, and by participating in both Primary Days of Music and the SD44 Intermediate Music Festival.
Upper Lynn regularly invites outside musical groups to perform for our students.
Upper Lynn has two choirs that all students are welcome to join. Primary choir is for students in grades 2-3 and rehearses on Thursdays from 8-8:50am. Our intermediate choir is for students in grades 4-7 and rehearses on Wednesdays from 8-8:50am.
