École Windsor Secondary
North Vancouver School District
Principal's Message

Welcome!

École Windsor Secondary is situated on the unceded, traditional territory of the Tsleil-Waututh and  Skwxwú7mesh Nations.  I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to learn, share and grow on this traditional territory.

At Windsor, we aspire “to be a vibrant learning environment where individuals respect and encourage each other to develop the competencies to thrive in a rapidly changing world."  Our staff, students, and community all contribute to ensuring we strive towards this vision.

One of the great aspects of our school is the variety of experiences available to our student body.  French Immersion, Academies, and a rich offering of courses allow for an exploration of a multitude of areas of interest over Grades 8 through 12.  Enriching all this are the many extracurricular opportunities available including Athletics, Music, Fine Arts, and a wide variety of clubs.

Of great importance to our school is fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is appreciated and fostered.  A school should be a safe place for everyone and one of the ways we create this place is by embracing the distinctiveness that each person brings to our building every day.  Please take a moment to review our Code of Conduct as it embodies these ideals.

Finally, I would like to thank each of you for the support you provide to our students.  Whether you are a staff member, parent, caregiver, or member of our community, each of you contributes to our school – making it a remarkable place to learn.

Sincerely,

Caren Hall
