Eid al–Fitr is a religious observance in the Islamic faith. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and means “the feast of breaking the fast.” The date of Eid al–Fitr changes annually. It always takes place on the first day of Shawwal, which is the name of the tenth month of the lunar-based Islamic calendar.

​International Transgender Day of Visibility is a day to celebrate transgender people’s contributions to society and raise awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people. The first International Transgender Day of Visibility was held in 2009. It is observed annually on March 31.
