What does an automotive collision and refinishing technician do?

What do I need to start? 

  • Entering Grade 11 or Grade 12 
  • Good employability skills 
  • A willingness to learn 
  • Strong interest in entering industry 
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset 
  • English 10 and Math 10 are required 

What are the benefits? 

  • Tuition-free post-secondary apprenticeship training 
  • Up to 16 graduation credits 
  • Apprenticeship Technical Training Certification Level 1 
  • Student registered with SkilledTradesBC 

When and where is the program offered? 

  • 35 weeks, full-time at VCC (Broadway Campus) 
  • Intakes in September and February 

How do I register? 

  • See the school Work Experience Teacher for application package 
  • Participate in an interview
