SchoolCash Online is run by KEV Group. All personal information within the North Vancouver School District SchoolCash Online system is stored in Canada only and administrator-level access is only granted to authorized school district employees and KEV Group support employees who are located in Canada. KEV Group is CSAE 3416 Certified, SSAE 16 Type 2 Certified and PCI Compliant. SSAE 16 Type 2 Certified is a standard for the control of financial data. PCI Compliant is a standard for credit card payment and includes a secure backup system. SchoolCash Online does not store credit card details for security reasons and industry compliancy.

KEV uses IBM to manage servers and host student and accounting information within Canada. IBM data centers are locked-off, guarded and can only be accessed by authorized IBM personnel. Monitored closed circuit televisions and 24x7x365 onsite security teams protect their data centers, while military-grade pass card access and biometric finger scan units are in place to provide further security. IBM is CSAE 3416 certified, ensuring that its controls, processes and procedures adhere to industry best practices.
